#R1# No luck for Sullivan with that takedown attempt. Sullivan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sullivan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wester digs a good hook to Sullivan's body.
Sullivan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wester misses with a hook. Wester throws a shot from downtown. Sullivan moves away and avoids it. Wester defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sullivan. Sullivan fails with the takedown and Wester counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnathon Sullivan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sullivan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wester lands with a nice body punch. Wester scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wester works the jab nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sullivan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wester's waist but Wester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sullivan off to one side. Sullivan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sullivan is breathing heavily. Wester dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#T1# Sullivan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wester uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sullivan. Wester doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Jester Wester is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wester stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#ROC2# Sullivan is rocked! Sullivan misses with a wild combination.
Sullivan tries for a takedown but Wester circles away easily and Wester counters with a huge left! Sullivan is in big trouble! He's backing up but Wester isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sullivan from any more damage. A dominating finish by Wester!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jester Wester! Jester Wester decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
