Flabet with a body punch. A glancing blow. #TD2# Flabet closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sargent to the mat! Sargent manages to get full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Flabet controls from within his opponent's guard. Flabet throws a big elbow that misses. Flabet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Flabet stands up over Sargent, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Flabet throws a big elbow that misses. Flabet throwing strikes from guard but Sargent blocks nicely. #T1# Flabet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sargent works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Flabet is working Sargent over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sargent preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Flabet with a flurry of punches that miss. Sargent will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Flabet throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sargent works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sargent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sargent utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flabet controlling from the top position. Sargent covers up, he's hurt! Flabet keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Flabet and the ref steps in to end the fight! Flabet can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

#R1##CL2# Thomas has Flabet up against the cage in a clinch.
Thomas lands a shot to the body. Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Flabet has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #TD# Flabet closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Thomas is looking to escape. Thomas is looking for a sweep. Flabet is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Flabet controlling the pace. Thomas is trying to stand.
Flabet scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Flabet not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flabet working the head and body with strikes. Flabet slows the pace down in half guard. #T1# Thomas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Flabet scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Flabet not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Flabet works his way into full mount! Flabet is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Thomas can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

This has been an exciting period of action! Flabet looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Thomas covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Finn Flabet decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
