Scott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones managing to control the position. Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scott is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott is looking to counter the offense by Alexsej and move into the clinch. Alexsej fails in his attempt to clinch. Scott throws a series of punches but Alexsej moves out of range. Alexsej tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Alexsej throws a sloppy head kick and Scott moves out of range easily. Alexsej uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Scott.
It seemed like Alexsej was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Alexsej shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Scott manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Alexsej looks winded! Scott controls Alexsej momentarily but Alexsej frees himself. #T1# Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Scott swats away the attempt to clinch by qq. qq misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Scott could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. qq tries to clinch but Scott is having none of it. qq throws a one two combo.
