The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Terry decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Terry tries to clinch there but Manalu circles away.
Manalu lands with a nice combination. Terry backs away looking to recover.#CL# Terry moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manalu is working for takedown but Terry is calmly controlling the position for now. Manalu tries to pull guard but Terry won't allow it.

Manalu lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Manalu misses with a head kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Terry doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Terry did well to prevent Manalu getting side control. Manalu not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Terry wants to control but Manalu is keeping busy and won't allow it. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Terry is trying to stand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Terry trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Terry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Manalu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manalu is nestled in close to Terry, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Terry tries to kick Manalu off but Manalu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #T1# Manalu lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Terry is looking to escape. Manalu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Manalu wants to control but Terry is keeping him busy. Manalu slips a nice elbow through Terry's hands, connecting with Terry's forehead. Nice strikes from Manalu there. #ROC2# Terry is rocked! Manalu lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Terry! More strikes land and this one is all over! Manalu jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

#R1# Bbb shoots in for a double leg but Manalu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#TD2# Manalu looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Manalu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. #SUB# Bbb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manalu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Manalu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bbb looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bbb keeping full guard, as Manalu tries to pass. #SUB# Bbb working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Manalu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Manalu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bbb looking for a sweep. Not yet Bbb, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Bbb had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Manalu defends it easily. Bbb sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Manalu working over Bbb with some ground and pound. Bbb looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Manalu trying to control from half guard but Bbb is working away. Manalu drops an elbow to the side of Bbb's head. Andre Manalu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Bbb wants to sweep here but Manalu controlling him for the moment. Manalu has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bbb is proving hard to escape from. Manalu stands up over Bbb, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Manalu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bbb's head. Bbb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB# Bbb is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Manalu has his hands clasped together but Bbb extends and breaks Manalu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar!
