#R1# Of Thasos misses the shot to the body. Sam lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A jab from Of Thasos misses. Sam looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Of Thasos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sam was well out of range. Poor timing from Of Thasos. Of Thasos feints a jab promting Sam to slip. Of Thasos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sam slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#KD2# Sam cracks Of Thasos with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sam has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Of Thasos to stand back up!#ROC2# Of Thasos is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Of Thasos glances at the clock... BAM! Sam nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Of Thasos crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Of Thasos is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Poly Sam! Poly Sam seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

#R1##CL2# Of Thasos clinches up with Aguilar and pushes him back against the cage. Aguilar goes for a takedown attempt but Of Thasos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Theagenes Of Thasos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aguilar keeps Of Thasos at a distance using the push kick. #KD2# Aguilar ducks straight into an uppercut from Of Thasos and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Aguilar manages to regain guard straight away.
#CUT2# It looks like Omar Aguilar has been cut. Of Thasos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Aguilar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. This has been an exciting period of action! Aguilar controlling the position. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Aguilar is on top in guard.

#T1# Of Thasos wants to sweep but no luck. Aguilar controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Of Thasos wants to sweep here but Aguilar controlling him for the moment. Aguilar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Aguilar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SU# Aguilar stands and steps away. Of Thasos gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Of Thasos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aguilar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Of Thasos throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aguilar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Aguilar is breathing heavily. The fight stays on the outside here - Aguilar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#T2# Of Thasos lands with a shot to the body. #KD2# Of Thasos throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Aguilar tumbling to the canvas! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Of Thasos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aguilar is keeping the position for now. Aguilar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Of Thasos is one step ahead there. #SU2# Of Thasos gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #T3##KD2# Of Thasos waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Aguilar. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Aguilar to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
#ROC2# Aguilar is rocked!#CUT2# Omar Aguilar's cut is getting worse. Of Thasos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aguilar is keeping the position for now. Oh Aguilar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Aguilar wants to sweep here but Of Thasos controlling him for the moment. Of Thasos postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Of Thasos stands and steps away. Aguilar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Of Thasos ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Aguilar's jaw. Aguilar's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Of Thasos does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Sam drops Of Thasos with a big left hand! Of Thasos is injured, injured bad! Sam jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
