#TD2# Magaya gets a trip takedown into half guard. Petersen is trying to escape back to his feet but Magaya uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Petersen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Magaya wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petersen prevents Magaya from moving into mount. Magaya trying to control the action but Petersen is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Petersen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#T1# Magaya moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Petersen wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Petersen is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here as Magaya stalls from top position. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sparks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sparks is looking for a counter combo. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Magaya. Sparks is looking for a counter combo. Stevie Sparks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shingai Magaya. Magaya fails to land the takedown.#CL2# Magaya darts in and clinches Sparks up against the cage.
