#R1# Sandri scores with a hook. Sandri throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD# and Faze counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Faze forces his way into half guard. Faze works his way into side control. Sandri trying to remain calm as Faze controls from the top position. Faze has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Faze has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#SUB# Faze tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sandri tries to bench press Faze off him but Faze keeps the position. #T1##SUB# Faze tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Faze has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Sandri is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Sandri is letting Faze control him for a moment. Faze has knee on belly and moves into mount. Faze takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#SUB# Faze moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sandri has worked his arm free - good work by Sandri!
Sandri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Faze. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2# Sandri is not content to let Faze control the position. Sandri gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Faze tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #SUB# Faze is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sandri has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Faze wants to control the pace but Sandri is squirming around nicely. #SUB# Faze swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bruno Faze! Bruno Faze tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

#R1# Sandri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wallace moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sandri connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wallace's hands. Sandri throws a nice looking combination but Wallace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wallace attempts a counter takedown but Sandri avoids it well and moves away. Sandri jabbing away but nothing is landing. Wallace tries to move into range but Sandri moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sandri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wallace feinted with a counter takedown. Wallace takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sandri tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandri throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.
Wallace seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Sandri lands an overhand right.#CUT2# It looks like Dennis Wallace has been cut. Wallace tries to land a front kick but Sandri steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sandri misses with the combination.
Wallace is looking for a counter combo.#T1# A lazy body kick from Sandri #TD# and Wallace counters with a takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SU# Wallace decides to stand back up. Wallace steps back and let's Sandri get back to his feet.#CL# Wallace fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sandri, pushing him back against the cage. Wallace is looking for a takedown.#BC2# Sandri's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wallace takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Sandri swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wallace counters with a three punch combo that has Sandri backing up. Sandri nods at Wallace to acknowledge the strikes. Sandri throws a right hand that Wallace ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallace also avoids with ease. Sandri looks winded! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wallace lands a leg kick that knocks Sandri off balance momentarily. Wallace throws a head kick but Sandri moves out of range.
#T2# Sandri moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.#CL# Wallace closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wallace leaning against his opponent.
Sandri has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wallace takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #BC# Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sandri swinging wildly here.

and Wallace counters with a nice body shot. Sandri swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#T3##CL# Sandri tries to keep at a distance but Wallace has taken the fight into the clinch. Wallace slowing the pace effectively. Wallace is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sandri gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sandri letting Wallace take a breather here. Wallace stalls. Wallace gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.#BC# Wallace breaks the clinch.

Wallace lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SU# Wallace gets to his feet. Sandri looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! #CL# Wallace closes the distance and clinches.#T4##TD# Wallace gets control of Sandri's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wallace will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SUB# Wallace is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sandri rolls with it to try and escape but Wallace cranks on the arm and Sandri is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
