#R1##CL2# Nazarro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boyka, pushing him back against the cage. Boyka looking to slow down the pace here.#TD2# Nazarro manages to pull guard.
Boyka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyka trying to control but Nazarro is working from the bottom. Nazarro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boyka is one step ahead there. Boyka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nazarro on the ground. Nazarro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boyka manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nazarro chips away with some ground and pound. Boyka wants to control but Nazarro passes easily into half guard.

#R1##CL# Hayes has closed the distance and engaged Boyka in a clinch.
#TD2# Hayes is fighting off a takedown attempt but Boyka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hayes to the mat. Hayes regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hayes controlling the position. Boyka stopping the sweep attempt from Hayes. Hayes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hayes throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Hayes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Boyka looks winded! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hayes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD2# Boyka gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Five Thousand to score an easy takedown into full guard. Boyka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Five Thousand preventing the sweep. Boyka is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Boyka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Boyka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Five Thousand tries to avoid it but Boyka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Five Thousand to the ground. Five Thousand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Boyka. Five Thousand steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Boyka. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuri Boyka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Five Thousand wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.#T2# Five Thousand throws a right and a left that Boyka avoids nicely. #CL2# Five Thousand clinches up with Boyka and pushes him back against the cage. Boyka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Five Thousand blocks it with crossed arms. #TD2# Five Thousand lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Dada Five Thousand dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Boyka enables Five Thousand to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Five Thousand tries to get back to half guard but can't. Five Thousand is trying to control Boyka's posture but Boyka avoids it. Boyka throws a strike aimed at the side of Five Thousand's head but Five Thousand avoids it well. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Boyka creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Yuri Boyka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dada Five Thousand is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boyka grinds an elbow into Five Thousand's temple.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yuri Boyka. Well Five Thousand has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
