John wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hall has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hall loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have John scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hall land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hall stands and salutes the crowd.

It looks like Gerry Zimmerman has been cut.
Hall scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Zimmerman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hall can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Hall throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mitchell slips a jab and a cross from Hall.

Mitchell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hall smiles and moves away.

Hall is nestled in close to Mitchell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hall's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mitchell pushes Hall off looking to stand but Hall dives back in and keeps control.

Mitchell has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hall is on him like a limpet, forcing Mitchell back against the cage.
Mitchell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mitchell is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronnie Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hall cracks Mitchell with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mitchell falls to his knees and Hall doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
