Zeitseva sitting in guard, not really doing much. #SUB2# David is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zeitseva is aware though and is defending well. David really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zeitseva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Zeitseva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zeitseva passes David's left leg - he's now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# David makes his way to full guard. A much better position for David. David has a closed guard, preventing Zeitseva from standing up. Zeitseva wants to control from the top but David keeps moving. Zeitseva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Zeitseva is staying tight to David's torso, preventing him from escaping. #SUB# Zeitseva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, David has escaped the position, nice work there. #T2# David trying to control but Zeitseva flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Zeitseva has good solid back control here. Zeitseva looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

Zeitseva is riding his opponent, not letting David buck him off. #T3# Zeitseva avoiding David 's attempts to control his hands. David wants to get back to his feet. Zeitseva just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
#T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.#SUB# Zeitseva working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. #SUB# Zeitseva looking for the choke from the back. Zeitseva controlling from the back. Zeitseva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zeitseva controlling well, preventing David from escaping the position.

Yuri Zeitseva dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# David defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zeitseva. David wants to counter with a clinch but Zeitseva pushes him away. David misses with a jab, cross combination.
#CL2# David clinches. We've been informed that David has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#BC2# David manages to break the clinch.
Zeitseva tries to clinch but David is having none of it. David throws a half hearted mid kick. Zeitseva lands a nice hook to David's body. David takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. David shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zeitseva defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zeitseva misses with a body kick. David throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zeitseva. David doesn't manage to clinch there - Zeitseva circles away.
#T1##TD# Zeitseva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches David napping and manages to drive through into side control! David is breathing heavily. The strikes coming from Zeitseva are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Zeitseva gets to mount! David was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. David wants to hold on but Zeitseva pushes him away.#SUB# Zeitseva looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.#SUB# Zeitseva working for a submission but David is keeping him at bay. Zeitseva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T2# Zeitseva looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zeitseva in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Zeitseva landing strikes from the mount and David is in trouble! Zeitseva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. David swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Zeitseva takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Yuri Zeitseva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. David wants to hold on but Zeitseva pushes him away.#T3# Zeitseva connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Zeitseva wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. #SUB# Zeitseva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! David has his hands clasped together but Zeitseva breaks the hold and David is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Zeitseva!
