#R1# Kidman is looking to score with low kicks. Kidman swings for the body but Ronaldo moves out of range.
Ronaldo shoots in looking for a takedown but Kidman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ronaldo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've been hearing reports that Kidman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ronaldo closes the distance and clinches up with Kidman, looking for a takedown. Ronaldo pushes Kidman against the cage but Kidman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kidman dives in for a single leg takedown but Ronaldo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kidman doesn't succeed with the takedown#TD2# and Ronaldo counters with a single leg into guard. Kidman didn't expect that. Ronaldo lands a couple of elbows.#SUB# Kidman working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Ronaldo has passed into half guard!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ronaldo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ronaldo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kidman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T1# Kidman is trying to control but Ronaldo manages to pass to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ronaldo controlling from the full mount. Ronaldo scores with a couple of good head shots there.

He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. #SUB2# Ronaldo has control of Kidman's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kidman regains control of the situation pretty easily.

He lands one big shot that has Kidman covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Ronaldo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ronaldo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ronaldo's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ronaldo distracts Orange with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Orange is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Orange being controlled here, momentarily. Ronaldo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Orange has his foot on Ronaldo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. After the fight, Rhasaan Orange was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
