Diaz tries to clinch up. A countering left hand to the body from Hirvi misses. Diaz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Diaz needs to keep his hands up - Hirvi had a free shot at his head there. Markus Hirvi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt. Jab from Hirvi. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hirvi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Diaz gets cracked there but stands up to it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Diaz might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Nice uppercut lands for Hirvi. That snapped Diaz's head back.

Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hirvi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hirvi stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hirvi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diaz's head backwards. Hirvi ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hirvi lands a nice looking body shot.

Hirvi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hirvi sprawls well. Hirvi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet.#TD# Diaz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hirvi to the ground. Diaz is now in Hirvi's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #T4# Hirvi wants to get back to his feet but Diaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Diaz showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Hirvi keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully. Diaz won't allow Hirvi to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Markus Hirvi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hirvi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. The defeated Joey Diaz had this to say: 'We win some, we lose some. I'll be back and stronger next time.
