We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marteau tries to stand but George is controlling from the bottom. Marteau wants to control from the top but George keeps moving. #T1# Marteau is looking to stand up but George won't let him. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Marteau throws a front kick aimed at George's knee but George avoids it well. George appears to be looking for a big counter.#TD2# Marteau closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. George did well to prevent Marteau getting side control. Still in half guard, Marteau seems content to control. Marteau wants to pass the guard but George is defending well. George looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Marteau has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Marteau is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Marteau seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Marteau is trying to ground and pound but George uses the momentary lack of control by Marteau to regain half guard. George tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Marteau has advanced to mount. Uh oh. #SUB2# Marteau goes for an armbar but he's not got it… George turns into him and now he's in Marteau's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Blaise Marteau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marteau has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. George tries to land a sweep but no joy. George utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oxford wants to control from the top but George keeps moving. George has momentary wrist control but Oxford slips an elbow through the middle. Oxford trying to control but George is working from the bottom. Oxford throws a strike but George rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oxford tries to land a sweep but no joy. Oxford is striking from the bottom but George uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Oxford trying to control from the bottom.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Shield misses with some strikes from the bottom.

George seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. George walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Guy drops George with a straight left! Oh this is bad for George! Guy dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
