Biernat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Biernat swings away with a leg kick that misses. Markell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Biernat lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Markell dodges the punch combination from Biernat.

Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Markell. Good exchange - Scout coming out on top. Scout works over Markell's head and body with a nice combination. Scout throws a right hand that Markell ducks under and follows up with a left that Markell also avoids with ease. Markell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#TD# Markell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Scout is working to avoid the ground and pound but Markell connects with a decent elbow. Scout is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Markell has knee on belly and moves into mount. Boulder throws a chopping leg kick but Markell manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jhin Markell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
