#R1# Salah will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#TD# Salah closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Em's guard. Salah looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Salah is looking to stand up but Em won't let him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Em is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Em is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Salah might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Salah engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #T1# Salah seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Em for as long as he can get away with. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Em's waist but Em gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salah off to one side. Em feints the counter takedown.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Salah closes this distance looking for a takedown but Em circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammed Salah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Em sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salah somewhat. Em keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Em tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#TD# Salah shoots in and bounces Em off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#T3# Salah tries to stand but Em is controlling from the bottom. Em trying to control the position.
#SUB2# Em looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Salah won't allow Em to sweep him here. Salah is looking to pass into half guard but Em pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Em is in guard.#REVB##T4# A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salah holds on and takes a little breather. Salah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Em on the ground. Em passes into half guard. Em wants to lay and pray for a moment but Salah keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salah moves into full guard.

A close round but Em Em will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Salah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Em only half commits to the counter leg kick. Salah is trying hard to land a takedown here. Em sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And Em tries to counter it with a takedown but Salah pushes his down on his head and steps out. Salah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Em tries to avoid it but Salah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Em to the ground. Em escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammed Salah. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salah. Salah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Em sprawls well. Em wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salah gets slowly back to his feet. Em was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Salah is looking for a takedown here. Salah works his way into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salah controlling the position easily from mount. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Em is working to get back to half guard.
Salah seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Em is holding on tight.
Salah moves to his opponent's back but Em bucks him off and ends up in guard. A bit of a disaster there for Salah. Em wants to control from the top but Salah keeps moving. #T3# Em tries to free his leg and advance position but Salah is retaining full guard. Em trying to control but Salah is working from the bottom. Salah is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Salah's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Em wants to control from the top but Salah keeps moving. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD# Salah scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. A close second round but Em Em will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3##TD# Salah feints and as Em raises his hands in defense, Salah changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Em can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salah controls the pace.#SU# Em is working an open guard so Salah takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Salah fails to land the takedown. Em displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salah. #TD# Em gets caught napping as Salah dives in and scores a takedown. Em manages to retain guard.#T1# Salah controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Salah trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Em being controlled here, momentarily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Em is on top in guard.
#REVB##T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Salah keeping moving, preventing Em from controlling successfully. Salah controlling Em's posture. Mohammed Salah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Em trying to control but Salah is working from the bottom. Em pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Salah is keeping the position for now. #T3# Em pushing down on Salah's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Em takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Salah is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Em's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Em's back! Salah biding his time, controlling Em. #SUB# Salah is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Salah controlling the position well here. Em rolled but Salah kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
#T4##SUB# Salah patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Em is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

#R1# One tests Em's chin there with a solid looking shot.#CUT2# It looks like Em Em has been cut. One throws a jab when Em was well out of range. Em fires out a quick counter leg kick but One just manages to avoid it. A decent looking cross lands there for One. One misses with a double jab.
Em attempts a counter takedown but One avoids it well and moves away. One misses with a lunging right hand
#TD# and Em counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for One! One is looking to get back to his feet here but Em is keeping cool and he's managed to take One's back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# One fending off the submission attempt from Em. #SUB# Em is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but One has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. #T1# Em is looking to control One but One is wriggling around and keeping busy. One tries to roll but Em sticks to his back.
Em trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Em is not going to allow One to sit and survive in this position. One is trying to break free.
#SUB# Em working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. #SUB# Em is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! One is tapping out! This one is all over!

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Liston misses the shot to the body. Em feints a counter leg kick. Liston throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Em bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Em changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Em uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liston.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liston misses with a body shot
#TD2# and Em counters with a nice double leg into side control. Liston won't be happy with that. Em lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Liston down.
#T1# You can see the frustration on Liston's face as Em controls the position. Liston stops Em from passing to mount. Liston gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Em controlling from the full mount. #T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#SUB2# Em is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Em extends the arm and Liston is forced to tap!

#R1# Jr moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. #CL2# Jr moves into range and clinches up with Em. Jr is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. #BC2# Jr breaks the clinch.
Jr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jr scores with a head kick. Em tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#CUT2# It looks like Em Em has been cut. Jr darts in looking for a takedown but Em gets double underhooks and turns Jr into the cage. Em drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jr sprawls and moves away.#CL2# Jr gets a clinch. Em looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jr is one step ahead there. Jr sitting in guard here, content to control. #T3# Let's hope that Jr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Em wants to sweep here but Jr controlling him for the moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.#T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Em swivels though and keeps the full guard. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Em feinted with a counter takedown. A head kick misses from Jr. Jr throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Em appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#CL2# Jr has Em up against the cage in a clinch.

Simao Jr dominated that round. The cut man is working on Em Em's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Em was well out of range. Poor timing from Jr. Em tries to counter with a takedown but Jr is quick to defend against it. Jr fails with a takedown attempt. Em appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jr.
