Leen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Leen connects with a body shot that sends Gore's belly button to the back. Leen feints a jab promting Gore to slip. Leen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gore slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#KD# Leen lands a big uppercut and Gore crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gore looks OK. Leen waves Gore back to his feet!#ROC# Gore is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A nice inside leg kick there by Leen. That's going to slow Gore down. Gore takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.#TD# Leen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gore was covering up waiting for the punch and Leen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gore is still in real trouble! Can Leen finish him? Leen is stalling in the full guard. We've been hearing good reports from Leen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Mazzuca connects with a looping right hand.
A head kick misses from Mazzuca. Mazzuca throws a quick inside leg kick. Mazzuca lands with a straight right. Gore didn't see that one coming. A kick lands to the mid section there for Mazzuca. Gore has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Mazzuca has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight. Gore walks into a left hand. Mazzuca lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mazzuca lands with a nice body punch. Mazzuca explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. After the fight, Robert Mazzuca was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#TD2# Gore tightens his grip and picks Franklin up, before dumping him to the ground. Franklin manages to land in guard. Gore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Franklin is keeping the position for now. #SUB2# Gore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB# Franklin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gore gives him a little smile and shakes his head. Franklin is trying to maintain the position but Gore is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter misses with a looping left. Gore is looking to counter the offense by Hunter and move into the clinch. Hunter throws a jab when Gore was well out of range. Deer Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunter misses with a looping right. A jab from Hunter finds it's way through Gore's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter lands a jab to the nose. Gore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hunter tests Gore's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hunter throws the left hand but Gore avoids the punch easily. As Hunter tries to get set, Gore tries to push him back and clinch up but Hunter manages to avoid the attempt.#T1# Hunter misses with a right hand #TD# and Gore counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Gore is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jamison has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#TD# Gore gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. #SUB# Gore thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. #R1# Turd throws a series of punches but Gore moves out of range. Turd stuns Gore with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gore tries to score a power double leg takedown but Turd sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gore somewhat. Gore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Turd circles away. Turd scores with a hook to the body. Gore takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Turd fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Gore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Turd cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Gore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turd lands a nice hook to Gore's body. Gore takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gore is breathing heavily. Gore takes one to the chin there. Turd scores with a punch to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice uppercut lands for Turd. That snapped Gore's head back.
Gore goes for a double leg but Turd avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Turd continues to drive forward. Gore is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

#R1##TD# Gore closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gore lands in his opponent's guard. Stefansson wants to sweep here but Gore controlling him for the moment. Gore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stefansson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stefansson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gore controls the pace. Gore throwing strikes from guard but Stefansson blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gore pushing down on Stefansson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gore works his way into side control. #T1##SUB# Gore has an Americana. Stefansson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gore is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gore hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

#REVR# Skinner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gore is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gore has Skinner pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gore has momentary wrist control but Skinner slips an elbow through the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
