The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akuma takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The fight moves into the clinch position. Akuma's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Akuma lands an overhand right. Trueman works over Akuma's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Danzo Akuma has been cut. Trueman pushes Akuma up against the cage in a clinch. The referee calls for Trueman to work.
Akuma has Trueman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Trueman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Trueman can't find room to land a body shot as Akuma controls the action.
Trueman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Akuma.
Trueman jumps guard but Akuma turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Trueman manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Akuma as Trueman shoots in. Trueman throws a low kick, looking for Akuma's leg but Akuma calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trueman has closed the distance and engaged Akuma in a clinch.
Akuma gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Trueman.
Danzo Akuma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sylvester Trueman. Trueman pressing his opponent against the cage. Trueman is looking to take this one to the mat. Trueman tries a knee to the head but Akuma blocks it.
Akuma tries to stall but Trueman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Akuma has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Trueman uses from the top position. Trueman tries to free his leg and advance position but Akuma is retaining full guard. Trueman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akuma wants to control but Trueman passes easily into half guard.
Trueman thows a huge punch but Akuma dodges it nicely.
Trueman is looking for submissions but instead, Akuma has regained full guard.
Trueman passes Akuma's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Trueman prevents Akuma from improving his position. Akuma is looking to control Trueman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Akuma avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akuma manages to get to full guard.
Trueman throwing strikes but missing. Trueman stays in close to Akuma's body and controls the position. Akuma not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Trueman wants to pass the guard but Akuma is keeping the position. Akuma working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Trueman. Trueman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Akuma throws a nice head kick!
Trueman misses with a takedown attempt - Akuma sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Akuma is looking to counter the offense by Trueman and move into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oooooh!!! Akuma has knocked Trueman down with a huge combo! Akuma steps away and waves a wobbly Trueman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Trueman is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Danzo Akuma will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Danzo Akuma's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Akuma! Trueman is out on his feet! Akuma rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Trueman is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Trueman is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Perkins wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#CL# Perkins has closed the distance and engaged Trueman in a clinch.
#TD2# Trueman decides to pull guard. Trueman throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Perkins in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. #SUB2# Trueman working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Perkins has passed into half guard!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Perkins is looking for a kimura but Trueman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Perkins to get the leverage. Trueman is trying to control but Perkins passes into side control!
Perkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#T1# Perkins is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Trueman is trying to work for a sweep but Perkins has mounted him!#SUB# Perkins is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Trueman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Perkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trueman is looking to get to half guard.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Perkins avoids the attempt from Trueman to control. Trueman is desperately trying to improve his position but Perkins has a good base and remains in mount. Perkins landing strikes from the mount and Trueman is in trouble! Perkins manages to capitalize on a mistake by Trueman to take his back! Perkins has good solid back control here. #T3# Perkins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Trueman tries to escape but Perkins has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Trueman trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Perkins has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Trueman's body.
#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Perkins is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Trueman up.
Trueman tries to roll but Perkins sticks to his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Perkins avoiding Trueman 's attempts to control his hands. Trueman can't escape the position.

Robbie Perkins dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##TD2# Trueman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.#ES# Perkins has one foot on Trueman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.#TD2# Trueman gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Perkins keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Trueman passes to side control. Perkins can't do much from the bottom here. #T1##SUB2# Trueman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Perkins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Trueman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Perkins can't do much from the bottom here. Perkins is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Perkins prevents Trueman from moving into mount. Trueman wants to control but Perkins is keeping him busy. Robbie Perkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Perkins is trying to control Trueman's posture but Trueman avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perkins is looking to reverse the position. Trueman tries to move to mount but Perkins blocks the move with his legs. #T3##SUB2# Trueman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Perkins rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Trueman's guard! Nice work there by Perkins! Perkins looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SUB# Perkins drops back looking for a leg! Trueman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trueman manages to kick Perkins off! Perkins jumps back into Trueman's guard. #SUB# Perkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Perkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #T4##SUB2# Trueman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Perkins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Perkins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. That was a close second round but I would say that Robbie Perkins will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round! #R3# Perkins swats away the attempt to clinch by Trueman. A combination from Trueman does no damage. #TD2# Trueman drives through with a takedown into Perkins's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Trueman content to stall in guard here. Perkins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Trueman can do to turn this around? Perkins lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trueman looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Perkins puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Trueman is trying to maintain the position but Perkins is very close to passing his half guard. Trueman wants to get back to his feet. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Perkins in particular looking to stall. And that's the end of the fight! Robbie Perkins showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Perkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
