Boulder throws a hook to the side of Dagestanskiy's head but Dagestanskiy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Boulder misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dagestanskiy.

Dagestanskiy throws a jab but it's blocked by Boulder. Boulder scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. No joy there for Boulder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Dagestanskiy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Boulder dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boris Boulder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dagestanskiy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Boulder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirby swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boulder won't allow Kirby to sweep him here. Kirby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boulder on the ground. #R1# Boulder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Danton tries to avoid it but Boulder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Danton to the ground. Danton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Boulder definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Boulder gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Boulder has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boulder there as he acknowledges the shot.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Boulder. Boulder throws a strike aimed at the side of Danton's head but Danton avoids it well. Boulder lands an elbow. Boulder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boulder misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Danton tries to escape but Boulder is in control. Boulder is stalling in the full guard. Vattakkuzhi wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boulder accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vattakkuzhi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boulder lands a couple of good shots and Vattakkuzhi has given up his back, trying to escape the position! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vattakkuzhi is in bad spot here.
