Sadollah lands a hook that snaps the head of Kelly backwards. We've been informed that Sadollah has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Sadollah working some nice short punches in the clinch. Sadollah wants to stall.
Kelly prevents a body shot from Sadollah. A head punch on the inside from Sadollah fails to land. Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sadollah lands a body shot. Sadollah lands with a right to the head. Sadollah tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kelly drops to his knees and Sadollah pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Sadollah! Mike Sadollah is the new bantamweight champion! Mike Sadollah decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Kelly looks to clinch and Gervais counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kelly moves out of range as Gervais strikes. Kelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#CL# Kelly takes the fight into the clinch. Gervais tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kelly's elbow. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kelly takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #BC# Kelly breaks the clinch.
Kelly slips a jab from Gervais. Kelly appears to be looking for a counter takedown.#KD2# Gervais lands a left and a right that send Kelly crashing to the mat, dazed. Gervais thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2# Kelly is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Randy Kelly has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kelly is looking to clinch but Gervais is avoiding it.
Oh Kelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Gervais plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Kelly to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Kelly just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Randy Kelly (ranked 965 p4p, 124 weight class) and Ty Nikulesci (ranked 4387 p4p, 448 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Randy Kelly! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ty Nikulesci! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Nikulesci shoots in and bounces Kelly off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kelly (0) vs (2) Nikulesci Nikulesci looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nikulesci is still trying to improve position. Nikulesci must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Nikulesci is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nikulesci wants to control from the top but Kelly keeps moving. Kelly has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kelly keeping moving, preventing Nikulesci from controlling successfully.

Merlin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Merlin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kelly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kelly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Arvins Bootcamp in the buildup to the fight. Merlin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Merlin throws a jab but it's blocked by Kelly. Kelly looks to land a left hand but Merlin moved out of range nicely. Merlin lands with a cross. Kelly is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Merlin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kelly on the side of the head. Merlin lands a body shot.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kelly uses from the top position. Kelly tries to stand but Chimper is controlling from the bottom. Chimper managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chimper is trying to keep Kelly in close.
Kelly wants to get up but he can't break Chimper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kelly will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kelly fails with a takedown attempt. Stanford Mccoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Kelly. Mccoy throws a head kick that misses. Kelly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mccoy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kelly somewhat.#CL2# Kelly clinches up with Mccoy and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mccoy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kelly has him pressed against the cage. Mccoy trying to control the position but instead, Kelly has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mccoy into the cage. Mccoy just leaning against Kelly, taking a breather. Mccoy jumps guard but Kelly stands there with Mccoy around his waist. Mccoy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pitts attempts a counter takedown but Kelly avoids it well and moves away.#TD# Pitts manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kelly on his heels. He'll look to pass Kelly's guard now, I'm sure. Kelly preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
