Sokolov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Marciano is looking to get back to his feet here but Sokolov is keeping cool and he's managed to take Marciano's back.#SUB#
Sokolov is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Marciano has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sokolov has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Marciano taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sokolov doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Lawler drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lawler as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Marciano screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lawler! Nice submission victory there!

Carlos Lawler decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
