Walsh throws a wild body kick that Shields sees coming a mile off. Walsh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Walsh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shields avoids it really well and circles away.#TD2# Walsh closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Omar Shields. Well Walsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Walsh throws the kick towards the body but Fuentes avoids it. Walsh shoots and misses #TD# and Fuentes counters with a takedown into side control. Walsh tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Kent Fuentes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arther Walsh. Fuentes tries to get the hooks in deep but Walsh pushed the leg off. Fuentes missing with strikes from the back. I really don't envy Walsh right now.
