#R1# Dean avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Dean is looking for a counter combo. Luka Ball seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Ball shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dean's guard. Dean is looking to stand back up but Ball counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dean. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#REVR# Ball prevents Dean from improving his position. Dean is working hard here to advance position.#SUB# Dean has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Ball escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Ball!#SUB2# Ball working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ball landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. #T1# Dean is trying to improve his position. The referee asks Ball politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ball prefers to stall for the moment though.#SU2# Ball decides to take the fight back to the feet. #TD2# Ball looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dean! Dean is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ball connects with a decent elbow. Dean being controlled for a moment. Dean is looking to regain half guard here but Ball keeps moving and retains side control. #T2# Dean wants to get back to his feet.#SUB2# Ball is working to tighten his grip on Dean's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dean has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ball is really squeezing tight and eventually Dean passes out! Ball breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
