The Handsome seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# The Handsome tries to land a sweep but no joy. The Handsome has his hands on Abumbu's head, controlling the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#SUB# The Handsome working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Abumbu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but The Handsome is tightening it up a little... Abumbu has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Abumbu reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Abumbu taps out! Nice BJJ there by The Handsome!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Boldoo The Handsome!
