#R1# Vizsla bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Slade takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slade misses with a wild body shot. Vizsla throws a body kick that misses. Vizsla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slade avoids it really well and circles away. Vizsla ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slade moves away. Vizsla keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slade avoids the head kick by Vizsla.
Slade swats away the attempt to clinch by Vizsla. Vizsla seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vizsla is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slade sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Slade misses with a straight left. Slade circles away from the clinch attempt.
#TD# Vizsla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slade napping and manages to drive through into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Slade manages to work his way to half guard, despite Vizsla's best efforts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slade is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slade can do anything to dispel that myth.#T1##SUB2# Slade actively working from the bottom here. #R1# Slade tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burke was well out of range. Poor timing from Slade. Burke keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Slade. Slade taking a breather here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Slade is trying to get an arm triangle but Burke is defending well. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Slade is working to tighten his grip on Burke's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Burke has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Slade is really squeezing tight and eventually Burke passes out! Slade breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

and Stevenson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. #TD2# Slade fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stevenson sprawls well initially but Slade persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stevenson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Slade missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stevenson really is a fat lump. Slade lands with a punch from half guard. Stevenson wants to get back to his feet. Stevenson wants to control but Slade is keeping busy.
Stevenson tries to get to full guard but Slade has control of the leg. Slade controlling the action here. Slade works his foot free and advances to mount. Slade lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stevenson is in all sorts of trouble here.

Slade wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Anderson scores with a hook to the body. Slade's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Anderson blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Slade tries to break the clinch but Anderson is controlling the position. Slade is trying to maintain a safe position but Anderson gets an underhook and turns Slade into the cage. Anderson scores with a shot to the side of Slade's head. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Anderson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Tupac Anderson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Anderson cracks Slade with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Slade tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anderson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Slade is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Let's see what he's got on the mat. Slade is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Slade's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ogawa looking for a sweep. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
