#R1##TD2# Noufert drives through with a takedown into Pierce's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Noufert postures up in Pierce's guard and throws a big left but Pierce blocks it. Pierce looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noufert is one step ahead there. Noufert prevents Pierce from getting back to his feet. Noufert's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SUB2# Noufert thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noufert throwing strikes but missing. Noufert throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #T1# Noufert postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Noufert working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Noufert's corner is telling him to maintain position. Noufert throws a big right hand that misses. Noufert postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Noufert wants to control from the top but Pierce keeps moving. Noufert throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Noufert connects with a couple of short punches.#ROC2# Pierce is rocked! Noufert has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Noufert arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Pierce's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Pierce misses the shot to the body. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dema, right into the meat.
Dema is looking to clinch but Pierce is avoiding it.
A countering left hand to the body from Pierce misses. Pierce fails to land the takedown. Pierce fails to land the takedown. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pierce. Gary Dema has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenneth Pierce. Dema connects with a crisp jab. Dema jabs Pierce right on the nose. Pierce blinks but takes it well. Dema blocks a head kick by Pierce.
Dema half committed to a counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pierce throws a combination that misses and Dema counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Pierce closes the distance and clinches up with Dema, looking for a takedown. Pierce pushes Dema against the cage but Dema circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dema seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dema throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pierce on the side of the head. Pierce swings widly with a right hand
enabling Dema to counter with a crisp jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dema dodges the punch combination from Pierce.
#CL# Dema gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dema definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.#T1# Pierce tries to pull guard but Dema forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Dema lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. A knee to the head by Dema.
#CUT# It looks like Kenneth Pierce has been cut. Dema has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Pierce - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Dema, and another! Pierce is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Gary Dema! An out of breath Gary Dema thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

#R1# Pierce fails with the takedown.#TD# Pierce gets a takedown into half guard. Case has hold of Pierce's hands but Pierce slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pierce trying to pass the guard but Case defending well. Pierce thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Case's head. Pierce thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Pierce is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB# Pierce is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB# Pierce has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Case defend it? Pierce steps over the head and cranks it - Case is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Pierce!

Alireza stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pierce is looking for the KO!#ROC# Alireza is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Ali Alireza has been cut. Pierce lands with a nice body kick. Alireza is still on wobbly legs! Can Pierce finish him? Alireza should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#CL# Pierce clinches up against the cage. Alireza seems to have recovered his senses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pierce lands with a short head shot on the inside. A nice right hand lands inside from Pierce. Alireza looking to slow down the pace here. Nice elbow from Pierce. Pierce lands a big right hand that drops Alireza! The killer instinct kicks in and Pierce finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Pierce!

Pierce swings away with a leg kick that misses. Kenneth Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pierce throws out a leg kick but Sadollah moves out of range and Pierce only half commits. #CL# Sadollah moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right from Sadollah. Sadollah definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pierce takes a shot to the head. Sadollah lands with a short head shot on the inside. Sadollah works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

A head punch on the inside from Sadollah fails to land. Sadollah scores with a shot to the side of Pierce's head. Pierce jumps guard but Sadollah turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Sadollah lands with a short shot to the head. Sadollah lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pierce backwards. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sadollah cracks Pierce with a nice body shot. Pierce blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Sadollah lands a body shot. Sadollah misses with a short punch on the inside. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pierce has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Pierce blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sadollah swings wildly with an uppercut but Pierce uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, Sadollah scores with a nice short uppercut. A short body shot lands from Sadollah as the two fighters clinch.
Sadollah lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Sadollah lands a shoulder strike. Sadollah throws a punch but it's blocked by Pierce. Sadollah dips a shoulder and cracks Pierce with a mighty uppercut! Pierce falls back against the ropes and Sadollah unloads with a barrage of strikes! Pierce is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sadollah screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Sadollah! Mike Sadollah decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

#R1##TD# Sanchez gets caught flat footed, as Pierce shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sanchez controlling the position. Pierce pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now. Pierce working some strikes from top position. Pierce stands and throws Sanchez's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pierce wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanchez keeps working. Pierce lands a nice forearm strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pierce trying to control the action but Sanchez is working from the bottom. Sanchez struggling a bit here.#T1# Sanchez is trying to get back to his feet. Pierce working away. Pierce tries to move into full mount but can't pass Sanchez's legs. #SU# Pierce decides to stand back up. Sanchez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #TD2# Sanchez shoots in and gets a takedown into Pierce's guard. Sanchez is fighting to break Pierce's control of his arms but Pierce is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sanchez wants to control from the top but Pierce keeps moving. #T2# Pierce is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Pierce trying to control the position.
Pierce is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Sanchez landing some decent shots from guard. #SUB2# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sanchez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sanchez tries to stand but Pierce is controlling from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.#T3# Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Pierce is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pierce with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pierce as he jumps to the side. Sanchez looks winded!#TD# Pierce closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sanchez's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pierce is looking to stand up but Sanchez won't let him. #SUB# Pierce drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pierce jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pierce scoring with punches to the head and body. Pierce wants to get up but he can't break Sanchez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #T4##SUB2# Sanchez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#TD# Pierce feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pierce controlling from the top position. Pierce pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanchez is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's better than Pierce was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Pierce looking to control but instead Sanchez has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.#SUB2# Sanchez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pierce pulls his head out easily. Pierce wants to control but Sanchez is keeping him busy. Sanchez trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pierce manages to pass to mount!

Kenneth Pierce overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanchez sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Pierce is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sanchez holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. #T2# Sanchez is not content to let Pierce control the position. Sanchez wants to get back to full guard but Pierce has mounted him! Pierce looking to finish Sanchez with some ground and pound. This is bad for Sanchez! Pierce trying to control but he's not successful this time. Pierce is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sanchez can do to turn this around? Pierce controlling from the full mount. Pierce trying to control but Sanchez is having none of it. #T3# Sanchez is looking to improve his position but Pierce isn't that keen on the idea. This is the final round! #R3# Sanchez tries for a takedown but Pierce sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pierce pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sanchez is out of range and Pierce settles back down. Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown but Pierce manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanchez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sanchez catches Pierce with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pierce takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
#TD# Pierce shoots in for a takedown and gets it.#ES2# Sanchez manages to escape and get back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Pierce fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pierce has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sanchez is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sanchez is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pierce.
