#R1# Ellis walks into a stiff left hand from Waldner. Ellis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Waldner was well out of range. Poor timing from Ellis. Ellis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Waldner chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Waldner lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ellis takes a step back to recover. Ellis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Waldner thuds a left hand into Ellis's body. Waldner throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Waldner throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Waldner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ellis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Waldner thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ellis if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd cheers as Waldner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ellis doesn't seem phased though. Ellis fails to land with a series of punches.

Ellis shoots and misses and Waldner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ellis swings away with a body shot that misses

Ellis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.#T1# Ellis throws a right hand that Waldner ducks under and follows up with a left that Waldner also avoids with ease. #ROC2# Ellis is rocked!#KD2# Waldner lands a big right hand that sends Ellis crashing to the mat! Waldner stays standing though and waves Ellis back to his feet! Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ellis takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Waldner looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Waldner backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Ellis's temple! It sends Ellis violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Waldner celebrates and the doctors try to help Ellis!

#R1# Ellis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Penn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ellis.
Penn feinted with a counter takedown. Ellis closes the distance and lands a one-two. Penn lands with a right hand. #CUT# It looks like Ben Ellis has been cut. Ellis thows a leg kick but Penn checks it and Penn counters with an outside leg kick.
Ellis throws a combination that misses #TD# and Penn counters with a shoot takedown. Ellis fights it but they end up in guard. Ellis is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Penn dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#REVB##SU# Penn stands up. #T1# Decent striking displayed by Penn there. Ellis fails in his attempt to clinch. That kick from Penn tenderised Ellis's leg. Ellis is trying to keep his angry face on. Ellis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Penn can pounce on him.

Ellis throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely. Penn attempts a counter takedown but Ellis avoids it well and moves away. Ellis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#KD# and Penn counters with a nice right hand that sends Ellis toppling to the canvas! Ellis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Penn finish him?!#ROC# Ellis is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Penn lands with a right and another and another! Ellis is in big trouble! Penn lands again and this time it's lights out for Ellis! A quality knockout there for Penn.

#R1# Green closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #CL2# Ellis clinches up against the cage. Ellis is trying to break the clinch but Green is controlling him. Green keeps control of Ellis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Green prevents Ellis from breaking the clinch. Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ellis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Green is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Green jumps guard but Ellis stands there with Green around his waist. Green gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Green stalling in the clinch but Ellis improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis is trying to force a seperation but Green has the dominant position. Ellis tries to circle away but Green has him pinned against the cage. Ellis will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Green up against the cage.#T1##TD# Green successfully pulls guard.

Ellis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ellis showing good wrestling skills to control the position. #SUB# Green throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Green is adopting a defensive guard.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green has a closed guard, preventing Ellis from standing up. Ellis throws a big right hand that misses. Ellis being controlled here momentarily. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.#SUB# Green had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ellis defends it easily. Ellis wants to get up but he can't break Green's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Green really is a fat lump. Ellis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Ellis Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Green's chin! Green crumbles to the ground and Ellis follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Ellis!

Ellis looks to land a combination but Mccormick avoids it well. And Mccormick counters with a quick kick to the body but Ellis blocks it. Ellis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Mccormick lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Ellis connects with a single shot there. Ellis throws a leg kick but Mccormick sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ellis swinging wildly here.

Mccormick is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Mccormick misses with a takedown attempt and Ellis rattles Mccormick with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Mccormick tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ellis dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Mccormick stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ellis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Terry dives in and grabs Ellis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ellis pushes down on Terry's head and hops out. Terry shoots in but Ellis avoids the takedown attempt easily. A countering left hand to the body from Ellis misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sammy Terry. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ellis with a lazy takedown attempt and Terry counters with a body kick that stops Ellis in his tracks momentarily. #CL2# Ellis closes the distance and clinches. Ellis tries to pull guard but Terry holds him up against the cage and eventually Ellis drops back down to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Ben Ellis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ellis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
