#R1##CL# Thuresson closes the distance and clinches. Minded looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#BC# Thuresson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD# Thuresson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Minded napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SU# Thuresson stands up and beckons Minded to his feet. Thuresson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Thuresson shoots for a double leg takedown but Minded sprawls well. He's pushed Thuresson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #TD# Thuresson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SU# Thuresson decides to stand up. #CL# Thuresson clinches up with Minded and pushes him back against the cage.#T1# Thuresson has Minded pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Minded manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Thuresson. That's going to take a lot out of him. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Thuresson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #TD# Thuresson is trying to trip Minded. He has hold of a leg but Minded is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Thuresson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SU# Thuresson stands and steps away. Minded gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #TD# Thuresson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thuresson showed some decent athleticism there. Thuresson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #SU# Thuresson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. #T2##CL# Thuresson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Minded dodges an elbow strike from Thuresson.
#BC# Thuresson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Minded lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#TD# Thuresson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Minded manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Thuresson advances to half guard. #T3# Thuresson content to control rather than advance. #SUB# Thuresson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Minded is just riding it out for now. Thuresson eventually gives up the hold. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Thuresson lands a nice short elbow.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SU# Thuresson stands up out of the half guard. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thuresson is defended easily by Minded. A little jabbing left from Minded on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Minded has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Thuresson closes the distance and clinches up with Minded, looking for a takedown. Thuresson pushes Minded against the cage but Minded circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#CL# Thuresson drives through and clinches with Minded against the cage.
#TD# Thuresson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Minded is looking to stand back up but Thuresson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Minded. #REVB# Thuresson thows a huge punch but Minded dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felix Thuresson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Thuresson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.#TD# Thuresson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thuresson showed some decent athleticism there. Thuresson slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thuresson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#SUB# Thuresson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Minded is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

#R1##TD2# Thuresson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Fuentes tries to roll over but Thuresson keeps him under control. Fuentes is trying to stand.

Thuresson wants to stand but Fuentes has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Fuentes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Thuresson. Fuentes wants to get back to full guard. Fuentes taking some punishment here, with Thuresson in his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fuentes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Still in half guard, Thuresson seems content to control. Fuentes is looking to control Thuresson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fuentes avoid being mounted?#SUB2# Thuresson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fuentes is just riding it out for now. Thuresson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fuentes's head. Fuentes is controlling Thuresson's trapped leg to prevent Thuresson from advancing to side control. Well, if Thuresson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
#SUB2# Fuentes is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Thuresson has latched onto it... Big trouble! Thuresson pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Fuentes is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Thuresson!
