Mcleod must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Mclaughlin is trying to control the position but Mcleod postures up. Mclaughlin keeping full guard, as Mcleod tries to pass. Mcleod seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #R1##CL# Mclaughlin clinches up against the cage.#TD2# Expiatorio is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mclaughlin can't fight it off and eventually Expiatorio manages to take the fight to the floor. Mclaughlin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SUB2# Expiatorio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Expiatorio has eaten all the pies!#SUB2# Expiatorio drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Expiatorio seems to have locked his on tight now - Mclaughlin screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Expiatorio, as he picks up the win!
