#R1# Childress displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steel throws out the jab. Childress feinted with a counter takedown. Childress throws out a loose jab but Steel uses good head movement to avoid it. Steel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Childress avoids the body shot from Steel.
Childress throws a jab but it's blocked by Steel. Childress has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Steel throws a big shot that misses. Childress avoids a punch combination nicely.
Steel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Childress doesn't seem bothered though. #KD2# Steel drops Childress with a beautiful combination! Childress stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Steel is looking for the KO!#CUT2# It looks like Angel Childress has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Steel connects with a right that clearly hurt Childress. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Steel proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Childress collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Steel misses with a looping right. Borrego connects with a crisp jab. Borrego scores with a nice head shot. Steel moves out of range of the strikes. An attempted straight right counter from Steel misses the target. Borrego slips a straight right by Steel. A slow jab from Borrego misses its intended target. Steel swings widly with a right hand
and Borrego counters with a straight right hand. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steel.
#CL2# Borrego instigates a clinch. Borrego misses with the head strike.
A short right from Borrego on the inside. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Both fighters working to control the clinch. Borrego throws a punch but it's blocked by Steel. Borrego lands with a right to the head. Steel trying to stall but Borrego improves his position.
Borrego tries to work over Steel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Borrego lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Steel or not. Borrego misses with some punches.

Borrego pushes Steel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Steel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Borrego's elbow. Borrego lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #T2# Borrego content to slow the pace in the clinch.

#ROC2# Steel is rocked! Borrego fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Steel to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Steel looks to clinch but Borrego throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Steel taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

#R1# Steel lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming.#CUT# It looks like Daniel Silva has been cut. Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Steel swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Steel throws out a powerful jab. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Steel fails to land with a series of punches.
We've been told by Steel's head coaches at Stark Combat Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Steel throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily. Silva ducks under a wild hook from Steel. Silva throws a low kick but Steel avoids it. Peter Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva shoots in for a double leg but Steel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Peter Steel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Silva. Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Steel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Steel, which made it look bad. Steel throws out a powerful jab. Silva checks a low kick from Steel. Silva tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#T1# Steel slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.#KD# Steel sends Silva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Steel is motioning to the referee to let Silva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC# Silva is rocked! Steel misses with a looping left. Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silva tries for a takedown but Steel circles away easily and Steel counters with a right hand from hell and Silva is out cold! A vicious knockout!

#R1# Steel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Al Mombasa throws a looping overhand right but Steel ducks down to avoid it. An attempted straight right counter from Steel misses the target. Al Mombasa takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Al Mombasa slips a straight right by Steel. Steel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Steel lands the left hand.#CUT# It looks like Mustafa Al Mombasa has been cut. Al Mombasa jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice sprawl there from Al Mombasa as Steel shoots in. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Al Mombasa! But no joy. Al Mombasa misses with a looping left.#TD# Steel throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Al Mombasa was covering up waiting for the punch and Steel finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES2# Al Mombasa has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Steel off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Al Mombasa looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steel gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Mustafa Al Mombasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel takes a body punch but keeps moving. That was a close round but I would say that Peter Steel will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# Al Mombasa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

You can see the frustration on Al Mombasa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Al Mombasa is looking to reverse the position. Steel lands an elbow. Steel creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Al Mombasa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Al Mombasa can't do much from the bottom here. The strikes coming from Steel are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Steel throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Steel throws a strike aimed at the side of Al Mombasa's head but Al Mombasa avoids it well. Steel wants to control but Al Mombasa is keeping him busy. Steel tries to score with some ground and pound. Al Mombasa controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Al Mombasa sneaks back into half guard. Steel scores with a couple of good hammerfists. #CUT2# It looks like Jet li has been cut.#SUB# li had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steel defends it easily. li being controlled here, momentarily. Steel won't allow li to get back to his feet. Steel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Steel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. li swivels though and keeps the full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! li can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steel controls the pace. li keeping full guard, as Steel tries to pass. #SUB# li escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #T1##SUB# li is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

#KD# and Dillon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Steel! Dillon lets Steel back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Dillon pounces like a tiger and cracks Steel with a vicious hook! Steel is down but not out! Dillon follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Travis Dillon! After winning the bout, Travis Dillon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
