Noel follows Byrd to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

#R1# Larkin misses with a left hand and Byrd counters with a nice body shot. Larkin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from Larkin does no damage. Sloppy strikes from Larkin. Those never looked like landing. #TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Larkin enables Byrd to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Larkin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Larkin is wriggling around but Byrd manages to pass to half guard.
#REVB# Larkin is looking to escape. Byrd is taking a breather. Larkin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#SUB2# Larkin looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nice strikes from Byrd there. #T1# Larkin is looking for a sweep. Byrd is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Byrd lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Byrd looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Larkin is looking to control Byrd's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Larkin avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Byrd remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Larkin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Byrd wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #SUB# Byrd is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Larkin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Byrd controls the position from side control. Larkin is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Larkin reaches up to try and control the position but Byrd seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Larkin rolls and tries to escape and now Byrd has his back!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Larkin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1# Byrd fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daniels avoids it really well and circles away. Byrd walks into a jab. Daniels tries a head kick but it misses.
Byrd is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Daniels throws a head kick that misses. Daniels fails with the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Byrd blocks a head kick by Daniels.
#TD# Byrd shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Daniels napping and manages to drive through into side control! Byrd remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T1# Byrd has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Byrd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Byrd has control of an arm but Daniels manages to advance to Byrd's back! Daniels thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. #SUB2# Daniels working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Byrd is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Daniels has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Byrd taps out!

Byrd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pallas was well out of range. Poor timing from Byrd.#CL2# Pallas drives through and clinches with Byrd against the cage.

Eric Clemens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Byrd just misses with a punch to the body.
Clemens let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Byrd tries to clinch up but Clemens circles away and keeps his distance. Byrd shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clemens as he avoids it easily. Clemens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Byrd was well out of range. Poor timing from Clemens. Byrd is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clemens sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Clemens throws a counter combo. Clemens connects with a body shot. Clemens thuds a left hand into Byrd's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clemens lands the left hand.#CUT2# It looks like Daren Byrd has been cut.#KD2# Clemens drops Byrd with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Byrd looks back up at him and smiles so Clemens waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

#R1# Byrd tried to score with a low kick but Dallas checks it. Dallas looks like he wants to counter punch here. Byrd dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dallas. That did some damage!#TD# Byrd scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dallas is not content to let Byrd control the position. Dallas is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Byrd is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Byrd tries to push Dallas's head away but Dallas is holding on tight. Dallas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Byrd wants to control the pace but Dallas is squirming around nicely. Byrd knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. Bates gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bates throws a nice looking combination but Byrd bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Byrd seems to have got his legs back now. Bates stuffs the takedown attempt from Byrd. Byrd gets slowly back to his feet. #T4# Bates avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! BIll Bates comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bates has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
