#R1# Kustaa throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling McKenzie Jr to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT# It looks like Gootti Kustaa has been cut. Kustaa waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McKenzie Jr. Kustaa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McKenzie Jr moves out of range of the strikes. McKenzie Jr uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. McKenzie Jr throws a body shot but no joy. Kustaa misses with a looping left. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Kustaa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McKenzie Jr did well to prevent Kustaa getting side control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kustaa in particular looking to stall. McKenzie Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kustaa in his tracks. McKenzie Jr throws a combination that misses #TD2# and Kustaa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #T3# McKenzie Jr is staying active underneath Kustaa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kustaa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kustaa slows the pace down in half guard. McKenzie Jr taking some punishment here, with Kustaa in his half guard. Kustaa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. McKenzie Jr tries to roll over but Kustaa keeps him under control. Kustaa drops an elbow to the side of McKenzie Jr's head. Kustaa slips a nice elbow through McKenzie Jr's hands, connecting with McKenzie Jr's forehead.#T4# Kustaa not landing any meaningful shots this time. McKenzie Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kustaa winds up and cracks McKenzie Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kustaa is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kustaa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kustaa is nestled in close to McKenzie Jr, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kustaa looks up at the clock and then as McKenzie Jr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kustaa smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
#ROC2# McKenzie Jr is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Dan McKenzie Jr has been cut. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. An elbow from Kustaa crashes against the mat.

Oh McKenzie Jr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! McKenzie Jr on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Kustaa in side control, just content to control the action for now. McKenzie Jr seems to have got his legs back now. Kustaa passes to full mount! That's big trouble for McKenzie Jr! Kustaa has been the more effective fighter overall so far. #CUT2# Dan McKenzie Jr's cut is getting worse. Kustaa postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have McKenzie Jr in real trouble here! The ref calls for McKenzie Jr to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
