Rivas looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chavez looks to score with a jab to the body but Hali is just out of range. And Hali tries to counter it with a takedown but Chavez pushes his down on his head and steps out.#TD2# Hali scores with a takedown into Chavez's guard. Hali missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hali engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hali preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hali slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hali trying to control but Chavez is working from the bottom.
