#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#CL2# Stark forces Ewing back against the cage and clinches. Stark effectively controlling the action here. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stark. A head punch blocked on the inside by Ewing. Ewing blocking some punches.

Ewing really is a fat lump. Stark swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Stark taking a breather. Stark is pushing Ewing up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Stark avoiding damage as Ewing throws knees to the body.
Stark swings wildly with an uppercut but Ewing uses good head movement to avoid it. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ewing obliges. Come on Stark - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Stark tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ewing misses with an elbow over the top. Stark stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Stark just leaning against Ewing, taking a breather. Stark is looking to control Ewing's arms but Ewing gets an underhook and turns him. Now Stark has his back to the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Eddard Stark. Stark throws a head kick that misses. Ewing throws a quick counter kick to the body but Stark avoids it.#TD# Ewing fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stark sprawls well initially but Ewing persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ewing winds up and cracks Stark with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stark wants to get back to full guard.#T3# Stark wants to control but Ewing is keeping busy.
Ewing is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. #SUB# Ewing is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stark defends it well. Ewing throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. #SUB# Ewing is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
#T4# Stark is looking to control Ewing's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stark avoid being mounted? We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Ewing is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stark sees it coming and defends easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ewing is thwarting Stark's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eddard Stark will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Raul Ewing's cut. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Ewing closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stark circles away. Stark throws a big counter head kick but Ewing avoids it with no problem. Ewing shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stark sprawls well. Stark wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ewing gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stark misses with a body kick. Ewing thinks about countering with a body kick.#T2##CL# Ewing rushes Stark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stark holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Eddard Stark seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Stark is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ewing is keeping busy. Ewing wants a takedown but no success here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raul Ewing. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ewing blocks an uppercut.

#T4# Ewing has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Stark wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Ewing seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Stark is tapping! Wow, great finish!
