#R1##TD2# Lara gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lara controls Patrick momentarily but Patrick frees himself. Patrick wants to control from the top but Lara keeps moving. #SUB# Lara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Patrick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Patrick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Patrick is stalling in the full guard. Patrick stopping the sweep attempt from Lara. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lara thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lara keeping moving, preventing Patrick from controlling successfully. Lara wants to stand but Patrick is controlling the position. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#T1# Patrick goes for a double leg but Lara avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lara continues to drive forward. That was a close round but I would say that Andrea Lara will probably get the nod. That's time! Andrea Lara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Patrick. Lara misses with a takedown attempt - Patrick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Patrick wants to counter with a clinch but Lara pushes him away. Patrick doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lara counters with a left and a right that stings Patrick. Patrick takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.#T3##CL2# Patrick clinches with his opponent.
