Paxman throws a big elbow that misses. Paxman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Paxman is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.
#REVR##SU# Paxman is working an open guard so Anderson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Paxman tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it. Paxman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Paxman darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage. Anderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Paxman. Anderson blocks a punch to the side of the head.
#TD# Anderson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Anderson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Paxman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Paxman is posturing up here but Anderson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Paxman tries to roll out but it's too tight and Paxman has to tap! Slick submission there by Anderson!
