Valdez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
DeMario Valdez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Valdez does it's job there.
Valdez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Valdez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vang throws out the jab.
Valdez looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#KD2#
Valdez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vang sprawling to the canvas! Vang rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Valdez finish him?!

Donk. Vang catches Santana right on the button with a cross.
Santana changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vang tries to avoid it but Santana manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vang to the ground. Vang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD2#
