Gal is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Paulo Lopes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Lee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lee throws a sloppy head kick and Lopes moves out of range easily.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss #TD#
and Lopes counters with a takedown into side control. #SUB#
Lopes has hold of Lee's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lee tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lopes cranks the arm and Lee screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lee, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Paulo Lopes!
