#R1# Dumas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#TD# Carter gets caught napping as Dumas dives in and scores a takedown. Carter manages to retain guard.#SUB# Dumas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Dumas won't allow Carter to get back to his feet. Dumas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carter is looking to stand up but Dumas isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dumas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carter's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dumas is looking to stall here but Carter recovers full guard. Carter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. #T1# Dumas trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. #SUB# Dumas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Carter keeping moving, preventing Dumas from controlling successfully. #SUB# Dumas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Carter looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Carter looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Carter! #REVB# Carter throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dumas works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Carter throwing shots but Dumas is blocking nicely. #T2# Carter lands with a punch from half guard. Dumas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though. Carter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dumas blocking the ground and pound attempt from Carter. Dumas trying to hold on to Carter's head to control him but Carter postures up.

Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dumas arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1# Carter loads up on a big right hand but Chrystler slips the punch.#TD# Carter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Carter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Chrystler is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Carter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.#SUB2# Chrystler looking for submissions off his back. Chrystler is holding on to half guard well. Chrystler makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chrystler.#SUB2# Carter is posturing up here but Chrystler has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Carter tries to roll out but it's too tight and Carter has to tap! Slick submission there by Chrystler!

#R1# Carter getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Good standup being displayed there by Carter as he connects with a hook.#CUT2# It looks like Lowell Bowers has been cut.#CL# Bowers rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Carter is trying to break the clinch but Bowers has him pressed against the cage. Bowers wants to take the fight to the mat but Carter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Carter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bowers tries a body shot but Carter blocks it.
Carter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#TD# Bowers gets control of Carter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bowers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bowers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bowers looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bowers is on top in guard.
#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Bowers is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bowers postures up and lands a big shot to Carter's brow. #T1##SU# Bowers gets to his feet - Carter follows without any prompting. Carter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bowers at a distance.
Carter misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bowers throws a big counter combination but Carter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Carter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bowers eats them both and turns towards Carter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Carter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#ROC2# Bowers is rocked! Carter throws an uppercut from hell that sends Bowers clean off his feet! He's out cold! Carter stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

#R1##CL2# Carter takes the fight into the clinch. Carter tries to break free but Bender pushes him back against the cage. Carter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bender taking a breather.#TD# Bender drags the fight down to the ground.
Carter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bender is proving hard to escape from. Bender has Carter pulled in close to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bender wants to sweep but no luck. Bender has his hands on Carter's head, controlling the position. #T1# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bender is on top in guard.
#REVR# Bender's corner is telling him to maintain position. Carter wants to stand but Bender is controlling the position. Carter is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bender dives into side control.
#T2# Bender advances nicely into full mount. Bender putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bender with good strikes from the mount here! Bender content just to control the position here. You get the feeling that Carter really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Carter is bucking up trying to escape but Bender cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Bender lands with some strikes. Bender dominating with strikes here. Carter is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bender. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bender controlling the position easily from mount. #T3# Bender lands a big elbow. Bender tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Carter squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Bender seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Carter for as long as he can get away with. Bender's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bender landing punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dillon Bender dominated that round. That's time! Bender's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2##CL# Bender clinches up against the cage. Carter is trying to break free. Carter tries to break free but Bender pushes him back against the cage. We've been informed that Carter has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#TD2# Carter wants the takedown. Bender is fighting it off but Carter persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bender's guard against the cage.#ES# Bender manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Carter throws a nice looking combination but Bender bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bender feinted with a counter takedown. Carter connects with a jab. Carter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carter lands with a straight right. Bender didn't see that one coming.#CL# Bender darts in and clinches Carter up against the cage.#TD# Bender successfully pulls guard.
Bender is pulling down on Carter's head. It's preventing any offense from Carter, at least for the moment. Bender continues to stall.#T1# Bender lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Bender looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Carter is looking to stand up but Bender isn't so interested in that idea. #SU# Bender gets to his feet - Carter follows without any prompting. #T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bender fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Carter feints the counter takedown. Nice uppercut lands for Carter. That snapped Bender's head back.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Carter uses from the top position. Dillon Bender overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #T3# Bender has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bender works over Carter with some ground and pound from guard. Carter wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bender manages to pass to side control. #SU# Bender decides to return to a standing position. Bender shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carter but Carter pushes him off and we're back to square one. Carter is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Bender with a body shot.#T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#TD# Bender closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Carter's guard. Bender forces his way into half guard. Carter wants to stand back up but Bender manages to pass into side control.
Carter is breathing heavily. Carter tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Bender working away from the top, dropping strikes.#SUB# Bender looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.#SUB# Bender quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Bender but it's paid off an Carter is forced to tap! Nice work by Bender.

#R1# Carter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bass circles away. Carter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Carter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bass as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dennis Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
#CL2# Bass rushes Carter and presses him up against the cage. Bass effectively controlling the action here. A frustrated look appears on Carter's face as he tries to break the clinch. Carter fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bass lands a nice uppercut. Carter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bass has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bass lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bass lands with a light punch inside. Carter has had enough of the clinch but Bass keeps him there for the moment. A quick uppercut on the inside from Bass. Bass lands with a short head shot on the inside. Carter can't break the clinch.

Bass creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Carter's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Carter drops to his knees and Bass pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
