#R1# Herz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Herz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pfeifer is fending him off so far but Herz persists. Nope, Pfeifer circles away and we're back to standing. Herz misses with a wild body shot. Pfeifer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Herz fails with a takedown attempt. Herz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pfeifer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Herz.
Herz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd cheers as Herz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pfeifer doesn't seem phased though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Herz misses with an uppercut. Pfeifer saw that one coming. Pfeifer misses with a few strikes there.
Herz with the counter takedown but Pfeifer avoids it easily. Herz misses the jab. Pfeifer is looking to counter with a shot to the body.#TD2# Herz feints and as Pfeifer raises his hands in defense, Herz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pfeifer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Herz on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Pfeifer keeping full guard, as Herz tries to pass. #T1##SUB2# Herz is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #ES# Pfeifer pushes Herz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A jab lands there for Pfeifer. Herz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Herz keeps the fight on the outside. Herz connects with a nice looking jab.
Pfeifer moves out of range as Herz strikes. Pfeifer misses with a wild body shot. Herz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Pfeifer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Herz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Herz lands with a straight right. Pfeifer didn't see that one coming. Pfeifer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#T2# We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pfeifer throws a nice looking combination but Herz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Herz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Herz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Herz shoots in and drives through. Pfeifer sprawls well. Ricardo Pfeifer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lukas Herz. Pfeifer shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Herz eats them both and turns towards Pfeifer to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#TD2# Herz gets the takedown into side control. Herz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pfeifer keeps working. Pfeifer is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Herz asserts his dominance and retains side control.#SUB2# Herz is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pfeifer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Herz gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pfeifer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Herz lets go of the hold and Pfeifer can pop his arm back in it's socket.

#R1# Sullivan V misses with an uppercut. Herz saw that one coming. Herz thows a left - swing and a miss! Sullivan V keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sullivan V jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Sullivan V tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Herz was well out of range. Poor timing from Sullivan V.#TD# Herz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sullivan V napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sullivan V tries to buck Herz off but Herz is having none of it.#SUB# Herz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sullivan V has escaped the position, nice work there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB# Herz is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sullivan V is trying to escape and Herz transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sullivan V is forced to tap! Nice work there by Herz! Very nice indeed!
