Beats throws a combination that misses and Bickle counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A jab from Bickle finds it's way through Beats's defenses. Beats slips under a jab. No luck for Beats with that takedown attempt. Beats looks for a takedown but Bickle sprawls well. Bickle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Beats's head backwards. Beats tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beats moves forwards but Bickle connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bickle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beats sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bickle's corner calls for a 1-2. Well Bickle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Beats pushes Mills against the cage but Mills circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mills connects with a jab. Mills fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beats has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Mills fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beats on the side of the head. Mills works Beats's body with a nice hook. Beats takes one to the side of the head.
Beats dives in for a single leg takedown but Mills sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mills.
Mills throws a nice inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A combination from Beats does no damage. Beats rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mills finish him?!

Beats doesn't succeed with the takedown and Luft connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Luft enables Beats to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luft manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Beats slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Beats is looking to take a break and control but Luft is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beats tries to score with some ground and pound. Luft controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Beats remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #SUB# Beats is trying to get an arm triangle but Luft is defending well. #T1##SUB# Beats has hold of Luft's arm.
