#R1# Togashi lands a jab to the nose. Togashi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Togashi scores with a jab. Banks acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Banks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Togashi as he avoids it easily. Togashi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Banks's head backwards. Banks moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#KD# Togashi drops Banks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Banks looks back up at him and smiles so Togashi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC# Banks is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Banks looks for a takedown but Togashi sprawls well. Banks is still on wobbly legs! Can Togashi finish him? Togashi lands with a good body shot. Banks seems to have recovered his senses. Banks shoots and misses and Togashi counters with a lovely shot to the body. Yokuni Togashi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Banks.#T1# Banks fails with a takedown attempt. Togashi with a nice cross. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Togashi, as that shot connected.
#CUT# It looks like Ian Banks has been cut. Banks walks into a stiff left hand from Togashi. A jab from Togashi does it's job there.#ROC# Banks is rocked! Banks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Togashi tries to avoid it but Banks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Togashi to the ground. Togashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T2# Banks doesn't succeed with the takedown and Togashi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Banks thinking. Banks looks winded! Togashi lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

#R1# Banks shoots in for a takedown but Yoritomo shows good takedown defense. Yoritomo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Banks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yoritomo pinned against the cage. Yoritomo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yoritomo throws a shot to the body.
Banks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas in the buildup to the fight. Yoritomo lands with a hook. Banks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yoritomo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A left lands for Yoritomo. Yoritomo lands a nice hook to Banks's body. Banks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Banks takes one to the side of the head.

Kulina scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kulina sizes up Banks with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kulina darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Banks takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kulina keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banks throws an off balance right hand
and Kulina counters with a stiff right hand. Banks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Banks misses with a lunging right hand
and Kulina counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A swing and a miss from Kulina. Banks takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Banks shoots in but no luck this time. Alvey Kulina is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# Kulina lands with a shot to the body. Kulina's corner calls for a 1-2. Kulina obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kulina feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bankss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kulina throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Left hook, right uppercut from Kulina. Kulina scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kulina throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Banks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Banks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kulina throws out a counter right but Banks avoids it with no problem. Kulina's jab looks to have found its range, popping Banks under the eye. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kulina connects with a jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Kulina.#T2# Kulina scores with a jab to the head.

Nurmagabeeb scores with a decent looking hook. Banks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nurmagabeeb. Banks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Banks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nurmagabeeb lands with a good body shot. Banks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nurmagabeeb defends it nicely. Nurmagabeeb takes a swing at Banks's ribcage but misses. You can see the frustration on Banks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Banks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because The Nightmare is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! #R1##CL# Paul darts in and clinches Banks up against the cage. Banks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paul is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Paul lands a body punch in the clinch. #BC# Paul pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Paul moves into the clinch. Paul lands a hook to the side of the head.#BC# Paul breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL# Paul moves into range and clinches up with Banks. Paul misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Banks using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Paul has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
#BC# Paul breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Banks has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Paul is landing a low percentage of strikes.
