#R1##CL# Modlinsky closes the distance and clinches. Modlinsky tries to pull guard but Bolt forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Modlinsky lands an uppercut.#BC2# Bolt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL# Modlinsky rushes Bolt and presses him up against the cage. Modlinsky using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bolt has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Modlinsky has momentary wrist control but Bolt slips an elbow through the middle. Modlinsky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bolt wants to take the fight to the mat but Modlinsky manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Bolt is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Modlinsky pulls him back up using the underhooks. Adam Modlinsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Bolt.#BC2# Bolt breaks the clinch.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Modlinsky. We've been informed that Bolt has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Modlinsky prevents a takedown attempt there.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Modlinsky will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2##TD2# Bolt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bolt lands a few punches from side control.#SUB2# Bolt wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Modlinsky, who protects the arm well. Modlinsky trying his best to control but Bolt has mounted him. Modlinsky is desperately trying to improve his position but Bolt has a good base and remains in mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bolt looking to finish Modlinsky with some ground and pound. This is bad for Modlinsky! Bolt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Modlinsky is looking to escape. Bolt with the ground and pound from mount. #T1# Modlinsky is squirming around, avoiding Bolt's attempts to control the action. Bolt lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Modlinsky takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.#ROC2# Modlinsky is rocked! A big strike lands for Bolt! That's really hurt Modlinsky and he's turned his back - Bolt keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Bolt jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
