#R1# Toa defending well as Freud loads up on a big left hand. Freud has his takedown stuffed and Toa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No luck with that takedown attempt from Freud. An attempted straight right counter from Toa misses the target. Freud darts in looking for a takedown but Toa gets double underhooks and turns Freud into the cage. Jimi Toa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Freud. Freud moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#TD2# Freud scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Freud just content to control the position. Freud throws a strike aimed at the side of Toa's head but Toa avoids it well. Freud lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Toa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Toa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimi Toa will probably get the nod. Toa follows up with more strikes that drop Freud to his knees. Toa keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Freud! This one is all over!
