#R1# A swing and a miss from Troy. Troy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Troy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT# It looks like Brutus Troy has been cut. Troy throws a lazy right hand but Whelan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Whelan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Whelan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Troy. Whelan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Troy looks to land a left hand but Whelan moved out of range nicely. Troy throws a sloppy body shot
and Whelan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Whelan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Troy manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whelan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Troy. Some wild striking there from Troy.

Troy looks to land a left hand but Whelan moved out of range nicely. Troy cracks a nice hook into Whelan's ribs. Troy seems to have recovered his senses. A shot to the liver by Troy. Beautiful body shot. Whelan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Troy. Troy throws a jab but it's blocked by Whelan. Troy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Whelan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. BAM! Whelan delivers a spinning backfist that drops Troy like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
