Shield is trying to push Zimmerman away but Zimmerman has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Shield takes a shot to the head. #BC# Zimmerman breaks the clinch.
#KD# Zimmerman drops Shield with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shield looks back up at him and smiles so Zimmerman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Zimmerman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shield circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Zimmerman. Shield falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Zimmerman!

#R1# Papin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Shield on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Papin. Papin obviously looking to wear him down.
Papin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shield. That did some damage! Papin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Papin. Papin lands a glancing blow to the side of Shield's head. Shield takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Papin throws a leg kick which misses Shield's front leg but catches the back leg as Shield tries to avoid it. Shield shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Papin as he avoids it easily. Papin connects with a leg kick. Shield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. #KD# Papin lands a big right hand that sends Shield crashing to the mat! Papin stays standing though and waves Shield back to his feet!#ROC# Shield is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Walter Shield has been cut. Shield's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Papin connects with a leg kick. Shield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Papin cracks Shield on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Shield falls backwards against the cage. Papin follows up with more strikes that drop Shield to his knees. Papin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Shield! This one is all over!

#R1# Ryan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Shield backs up against the cage.
Ryan throws a series of punches but Shield avoids them all with ease. #CL2# Shield closes the distance and clinches. Ryan is trying to stall.
A short right from Ryan. Shield stalling in the clinch but Ryan improves position. Ryan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ryan swings wildly with an uppercut but Shield uses good head movement to avoid it. Shield lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. #BC# Ryan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shield tries a head kick but it misses.
Ryan plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Shield to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Shield just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

#R1# Shield throws the kick towards the body but Duarte avoids it. Duarte turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Duarte. Shield throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Shield uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Duarte. Duarte throws a lazy right hand but Shield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Shield throws a right and a left that Duarte avoids nicely. Shield shoots in but Duarte avoids the takedown attempt easily. Some bone on bone action there as Shield checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Shield is looking to clinch. Shield is aggressively charging in as Duarte backs up avoiding any damage. Duarte tosses out a jab and Shield runs right into it face first! Shield is out cold! Duarte dropped down on all fours and is barking in Shield's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

#R1# A head kick misses from Shield. #TD# Shield changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thatcher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Shield tries to stand but Thatcher controls the position and pulls Shield into his guard. Thatcher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Shield throwing strikes but missing. Shield wants to pass the guard but Thatcher is keeping the position. Shield pushes down on Thatcher's leg and manages to get into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shield controlling the action here. Shield seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
#T1# Shield is figuring out what he wants to do next. Thatcher wants to control but Shield is keeping busy and won't allow it. Thatcher tries to roll over but Shield keeps him under control. Shield wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shield looks to land a strike but Thatcher avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Shield loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Shield with a flurry of punches that miss. #ROC# Shield is rocked! Magn wants to stand but Shield has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Shield is still in real trouble! Can Magn finish him? Magn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Shield seems to have recovered his senses. Shield wants to sweep but no luck. This has been an exciting period of action! Magn slips nicely into half guard. Magn stops Shield from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Magn performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Magn frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T1# Magn controlling the pace for now. Magn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Magn manages to capitalize on a mistake by Shield to take his back! Good control from Magn. Magn has the hooks in. Shield throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as White works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Shield trying to stand up but can't free himself from White's guard. Shield not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. White looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
