Endicott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Endicott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee asks Endicott politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Endicott prefers to stall for the moment though.
Endicott tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Endicott working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Pace tries to escape but Endicott is in control.
Endicott throws an elbow but Pace slips to the side and avoids it well.
Endicott postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pace is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Endicott lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pace down.
Oh Pace is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pace is letting Endicott control him for a moment.
Endicott tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Endicott scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Pace is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Endicott can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
