Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nuutti.
Preacher shoots in but no luck this time. Preacher takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A head kick by Nuutti misses #TD2# and Preacher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Preacher works over Nuutti with some ground and pound from guard. Nuutti has momentary wrist control but Preacher slips an elbow through the middle.#SUB2# Preacher drops back looking for a leg! Nuutti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nuutti manages to kick Preacher off! Preacher jumps back into Nuutti's guard. #R1# Krnacova closes this distance looking for a takedown but Preacher circles away. Krnacova is trying hard to land a takedown here. Preacher sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Felix Krnacova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krnacova shoots in for a takedown but Preacher shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Krnacova. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krnacova tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Preacher defends well and Krnacova ends up having to push Preacher into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Preacher. No joy for Krnacova on that attempt. Krnacova tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD2# and Preacher counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Preacher is trying to control the action in half guard but Krnacova is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Krnacova is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Preacher's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Preacher's back! Preacher staying busy and making it hard for Krnacova to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Preacher is trying to break free.

Preacher felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Preacher is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

He's bucked Preacher off and has taken his back! Preacher is covering up but some of the strikes from Krnacova are getting through and doing damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Preacher working the strikes but Johnson uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Preacher wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Johnson tries to roll over but Preacher keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Preacher. Preacher gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Flannerry counters with a straight right hand. Good standup being displayed there by Flannerry as he connects with a hook. Flannerry ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Preacher throws a half hearted mid kick.#TD# Preacher gets a takedown into half guard. Preacher thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Flannerry is concentrating on defense, preventing Preacher from advancing position. #SU# Preacher stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Flannerry has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Preacher is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Flannerry.#T1# Flannerry jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

#CUT# It looks like Jack Preacher has been cut. Apollo lands with a light punch inside. A knee to the head by Apollo.

Preacher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lindham but Lindham pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lindham tries to clinch there but Preacher circles away.

Lindham's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Preacher goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lindham prevents it.
