Gamzatov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Gamzatov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gamzatov passes the guard and advances to mount!
Anderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Gamzatov has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB#
Gamzatov with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've been hearing good reports from Gamzatov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.#SUB#
Gamzatov jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Anderson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

An out of breath Gamzat Gamzatov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Jaylon Anderson spoke after the fight, saying 'Tonight, my opponent was the better fighter, and I've learned so much from him in this fight, just know this isn't the last chapter of my life.'.

Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Antonovich can pounce on him.
Antonovich scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Antonovich seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.#TD2#

Antonovich finds Anderson's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Anderson flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Antonovich lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Anderson will be OK.

An intense looking Petr Antonovich took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'You wanna stand and bang and give the fans a treat ... send out a fight request !!!'.
In defeat, Jaylon Anderson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Tonight, my opponent was the better fighter, and I've learned so much from him in this fight, just know this isn't the last chapter of my life.'.

Anderson stuffs the takedown attempt from Tots. Tots gets slowly back to his feet.

Tots shoots in and drives through. Anderson sprawls well.

and Anderson counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Tots! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

A determined Jaylon Anderson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

Meallan clinches up against the cage.
Anderson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Meallan's coach down at Big Jim's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Meallan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Anderson is trying to break the clinch but Meallan is controlling him.
Anderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Meallan walks away with a smile on his face. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Anderson shoots in for a double leg but Meallan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#CL2#
Meallan clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage.
Anderson tries to land knees in the clinch but Meallan avoids the damage to the body.
Anderson tries to pull guard but Meallan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaylon Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Anderson tries to clinch up but Meallan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Anderson to the mat! Anderson covers up and Meallan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
