#R1# Daniels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Island defends it nicely.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Island gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Daniels.
Island pushes off an throws an elbow but Daniels leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Island throws an elbow but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels blocks an elbow strike. Daniels tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Island just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Island creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Daniels fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Daniels jumps guard but Island stands there with Daniels around his waist. Daniels gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

#T2# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Island looking to pass the guard. Island sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Daniels's guard. Island trying to control the pace. Daniels gets full guard.#SUB# Daniels has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Island should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Daniels has tightened it up now! Island should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
