Werdum sets himself, and Kan steps forward looking for the clinch! Werdum avoids it this time. Werdum swings away with a body shot that misses
#CL2# and Kan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kan. Kan lands a nice shot to the body. Kan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Werdum throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Werdum's efforts to push away. Kan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Werdum trying to land knees to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Werdum just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kan's brow. Werdum misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kan.
Kan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Werdum backwards. #T1# Werdum tries to work over Kan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Werdum is trying to stall.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! With the two fighters working up against the cage, Werdum just misses with a elbow thrown towards Kan's brow. A frustrated look appears on Werdum's face as he tries to break the clinch. #KD2# Kan drops Werdum onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Werdum is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! Oh Werdum is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#T3# Kan blocks a body shot from Werdum. Nice body punch from Kan. Werdum seems to have got his legs back now. Werdum is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kan is defending well for now. Kan pushes Werdum back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Werdum throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

#R1# Werdum tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Werdum lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Werdum has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brickwell is landing a low percentage of strikes. Werdum throws a head kick but Brickwell moves out of range.
Werdum takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
#CUT# It looks like Felicia Werdum has been cut. Werdum misses with an attempted mid kick.
Brickwell was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Werdum looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brickwell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Werdum.

Brickwell throws a hook to the side of Werdum's head but Werdum sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A big left from Werdum misses. Werdum lands with a kick to the temple. Brickwell shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT2# It looks like Danny Brickwell has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brickwell throws a body punch but Werdum moves out of range. Werdum tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brickwell defends well and Werdum ends up having to push Brickwell into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#T1# Brickwell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

#TD2# Brickwell tries to sprawl but Werdum drives through with a takedown into half guard. Brickwell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brickwell trying to control from the bottom.
Werdum wants to take a breather but Brickwell is having none of it. Brickwell trying to control but Werdum postures up.
Brickwell tries to get to full guard but Werdum has control of the leg. #T2# Brickwell is not content to let Werdum control the position.#SUB2# Werdum is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

#CL2# Rasputin has managed to clinch.
Rasputin is defending well against a takedown attempt. Rasputin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Werdum tries to pull guard but Rasputin holds him up against the cage and eventually Werdum drops back down to his feet.
Rasputin gets through Werdum's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A right hand to the body from Rasputin.
Werdum is breathing heavily. Rasputin presses Werdum against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A short right from Rasputin. A hook to the body from Rasputin.

Nice body punch from Rasputin. Rasputin lands a nice uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rasputin lands a body shot in the clinch.
Werdum's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Rasputin scores with a nice hook to the head. Rasputin lands a big right hand that drops Werdum! The killer instinct kicks in and Rasputin finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Rasputin!

#R1##TD# Jacobs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Werdum is trying to defend but Jacobs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Werdum slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jacobs passes Werdum's left leg - he's now in half guard. Jacobs controlling the pace. Werdum wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jacobs perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #SUB# Jacobs is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jacobs wants to free his trapped foot but Werdum is holding on for dear life with his legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1##SUB# Jacobs is trying for a kimura here. #R1# Werdum throws a lazy body kick and Perez counters with a stiff right hand. Perez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Werdum throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Perez's head. Perez wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Werdum misses with a leg kick. Perez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Werdum. Werdum attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Perez looks to throw the jab but Werdum is out of range. Perez blocks a head kick by Werdum.
No joy there for Perez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perez lands a shot to the body.
